Import and Export Configuration Content
If you are using Oracle Logging Analytics in multiple regions, then you can export and re-import your configuration content. You can also use this if you want to store a copy of your definitions outside of Oracle Logging Analytics.
If you want to use OCI CLI to perform these tasks, then ensure to use the latest version of the tool. For the command syntax and parameters, see Command Line Reference: content-import and Command Line Reference: content-export.
Import Configuration Content
To import source or parser definitions:

The Import Configuration Content dialog box opens.

Upload the configuration file by dragging and dropping it to the specific area or select it by specifying the path. You can optionally choose to overwrite the existing sources and parsers if they have the same name.
-
Click Import.
Export the Content from Logging Analytics
You can export the log parsers and user-defined sources to an XML file using the Oracle Logging Analytics user interface.
Topics:
Export the Sources
When you export a source, the associated parsers, extended field definitions and labels are also exported to the XML file.
Export the Parsers
Export the user-defined log parsers from the log parsers page to an xml file.
When you export a source, the associated parsers, extended field definitions and labels are also exported to the XML file. Exporting a parser selectively, with the steps listed below, is useful when the parser is not yet used in a source.
