Unable to Open Desktop
When opening your desktop, you may encounter an error indicating that the desktop is unavailable. The issue may be due to network connectivity, desktop status, or a manual shutdown of the desktop.

Network issues
You may be unable to open the desktop due to network connectivity.
Remedy: Verify your network connection. Wait for any temporary network issues to resolve, and then reopen the desktop.
Desktop status
You cannot open a desktop in Available - opening, Available - updating, or Available - failed status. For a description of the statuses, see Viewing Your Desktop Status.
Remedy: If the desktop is in Available - opening or Available - updating status, wait until the status changes to Available, and then reopen the desktop. If the desktop is in Available - failed status, contact your desktop administrator for assistance.
Desktop has been manually shut down
If the desktop was manually shut down through the operating system, the client cannot connect to the desktop. See Error message after shutting down the desktop.
Remedy: Contact your desktop administrator to restart the desktop instance. Do not manually shut down the desktop from the operating system.
